The Institute of Cytology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICC RAS) in St. Petersburg is engaged in fundamental, exploratory and applied scientific research in the field of cellular and molecular biology. The institute also develops cellular technologies, including those based on nanobiotechnology, and publishes scientific journals.
