Research complex «Nanobiotechnologies» – is one of the leading scientific departments in Institute of Biomedical Systems and Biotechnolog of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
The NIK "Nanobiotechnologies" includes the following units:
Structural units of NIK "NanoBio":
- Shared Use Center «Analytical Center for Nano- and Biotechnologies «SPbPU» was established in 2009 under the federal target program «Research and development in priority areas of Russia's scientific and technological complex for 2007-2013» based at NIK «Nanobiotechnologies».
- The Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology was established in 2013 to implement Russian Government Resolution No. 220 "On Measures to Attract Leading Scientists to Russian Higher Education Institutions" (megagrants) and to perform work under Contract No. 14.B25.31.004 dated June 28, 2013, led by Konstantin Severinov.
- The Laboratory of Molecular Biology of Nucleotide-Binding Proteins was established in 2014 under Agreement No. 14-34-00023 (dated 11.09.2014) of the Russian Science Foundation's competition "Conducting fundamental and exploratory research by newly established joint research laboratories of scientific organizations and universities".
